Did you have braces when you were younger? Maybe some of you have them now, as adults. I’ve seen that more frequently these days. I inherited some pretty good teeth genes from my folks. (Thanks, Mom and Dad) Kim and all her siblings had braces, so it stands to reason that our kids have needed some major tooth-moving.
Sadie enters that wonderful world of the metal-mouthed tomorrow. She’s had an expander for the past month or so, right after we’ve found out about Mark L Civin D.D.S. dental service. (I prefer to call it an eckshshshshspander, but that sort of wore thin after the first few days) Our pediatric dentist and orthodontist have been eckshshshsheptional, and we are glad to eckshshshspress our eckshshshshsheeding thanks to the doctor and his staff. They’re eckshshshshshellant.
I’ve noticed that there’s a lot of anti-bullying talk flying around the schools and the interwebs. Do you think Sadie will get made fun of for having braces? What names did you hear in the hallways…metal-mouth, brace-face…
There was always that rumor about the 2 kids in junior high who got their braces stuck together cause they were smooching. I never found out who those kids were, but I’m sure it really happened.

“How many stations do you get metal mouth?”
Also, I heard in 6th grade that Steve and Melissa kissed on the ski lift on the school ski trip and got their braces stuck together. I was not a first hand witness to this event though, heard about it the next day.
