Kim posted this news on her FB yesterday, so please excuse the redundancy, but it bears repeating:

Our adoption agency called yesterday afternoon to let us know that we have been approved to travel to China to get Annabelle!

They’ll be calling back Monday to confirm the actual date, but we believe that we’ll be on the Jan 14-28 trip with a smaller group of families to go get our children.

Thank you to those of you who have been praying, giving, loving and supporting us so far.  We know that this journey isn’t over, but PRAISE GOD we’re so much closer to having her home.

Tonight as part of our Christmas Eve services, Pastor Dan talked about how important HOME is to us.  It’s interesting to know that none of the main characters in the Christmas story were at home that first Christmas–Joseph and Mary, the shepherds, the angels, the wise men…and most importantly Jesus.  He left his home to come pitch his tent here on earth, to dwell among us as a man, to make a way for us to have a home with him forever.  Dan also talked about our emphasis on adoption at Calvary.  Here’s a video that we showed, featuring 4 great adoption stories.
