this is being typed–against my will–on my wife’s prehistoric PC. My MacBook Pro is at the office, where I left it to run a backup. I had no idea that it would take this long…

First practice of the Screamin’ Green Eagles went way better that I expected. I talked a little about Jesus at the end, too. I know it’s a church league, but that doesn’t mean that all the guys and their families know Jesus. So we’ll talk about football, and we’ll talk about faith.

Weird moment of the night: looking around to see my team, wondering who the really tall/big kid is…oh, wait…that’s Levi. I am not kidding when I tell you that he is a horse! Big, strong, and tough…just like his mom…I kid…

Calvary’s short-term mission team to Rwanda got back in town Sunday. Their stories will rip your heart out. Be warned. God is literally changing the culture before their eyes.

OK, I’m out like Sofiya Velikaya. You know who I mean–the Russian fencer who thought she had a chance against the mighty USAmericans in the sabre. You prob’ly know this, but we swept the womens’ sabre. I was going to slap up a video of Khachaturian’s Sabre Dance, but Kim’s computer won’t do all that fancy jazz. Maybe you can sing it in your head…

This anti-Eagles stuff could have serious implications on your teams season! Seriously, we miss you guys and can’t to hear how Levi does this season. Austin;s new thing is every time he points of the color yellow he says that’s Sadie’s favorite…lol Have a great day
