annabelle update

We got an email from our friend Ann in China today.  I don’t think I’ve told you about her, have I?  Ann was recommended to us by our adoption agency.  She lives in China, and has a unique role in the adoption process.  She takes pictures and letters that we send puts them together to make a scrapbook for Annabelle.  She’ll also buy little gifts (we send her the money) for Annabelle.  But the coolest part of the whole thing is that she takes current pictures of our daughter and gives us an update on how she’s doing!

Kim and I sat at the computer desk and bawled today as we looked at 7 new pictures of Mei Yun.  She’s about as tall as Sadie, weighs about 5 pounds less than Sadie, and has feet about the size of Lilly’s!  She look healthy, and is BEAUTIFUL!  Ann says that she knows about us, and is excited about the adoption, but a little worried about her new family and new life.  We’re going to send her lots more pictures and letters so that she can get to know us.
