I have a friend in the Dominican Republic named Miguel. He moved his family to the beautiful island a few years ago, following the call of God to go make disciples of every nation.
I’m sure that some people called him crazy. Most of the general public have never entertained a thought so radical as relocating your family, uprooting and replanting in an under-developed corner of the world.
But over the past few years God has been at work in San Juan de la Maguana. Yep, that’s the town we head to when we take folks to the DR. Miguel and his family live there, and they’re seeing some pretty remarkable things.

Oh, and as though that weren’t enough, the baseball team from the Dominican won the World Baseball Classic Tuesday night!
