Some of you know that I moved back into the Youth Pastor’s role at Calvary toward the end of the summer. I get to work directly with middle school and high school students, and I lead the team of adults who work with them in various capacities. It’s been quite an adventure already!
While things are not progressing as quickly as I’d like, there are lots of good things happening. We have added several people to our team over the past 2 months. I’ve been teaching both the high school and middle school groups, leading them through several weeks of studying some of the basics of our mission as Jesus-followers. There’s been some good discussion, and it feels like we’re building some momentum.
But there are a few places we’re still hoping to dial in over the next few weeks. We can always find meaningful ways for adults (college students through empty-nesters!) to join us. If you’re interested, you should leave a comment. Another biggie is the area of promotion or advertising. I’m always looking for that edge.
