Stac’s Place

Yuck.  I don’t like being sick.  You probably don’t like it much either.  I don’t like me too much when I’m sick.  I find that I’m short-tempered around the house, impatient with the fam…that’s not good.  I have to work on that.

A wonderful friend dropped off some delicious soup and sugar-free powerade for me today.  She said that someone had dome the same for her a few weeks ago, and she wanted to pay it forward.  How cool is that?  She also informed me that coughing can lead to dehydration, thus the powerade to replenish my electrolytes.

It’s been a bummer of a week around the Sublett ranch…our oven door is still broken.  The dishwasher is kaput.  Kim’s van is way broke (power steering, emergency brake, 4 new tires).  We got hit with a power surge or something, and Kim’s computer screen died today.

But you know, we’re keeping a pretty positive attitude around here.  The kids are all doing well.  Our marriage is great.  And we’re one day closer to Annabelle!

And I’m sufficiently hydrated, so there’s that…
